Laura Trinder

Laura Trinder studied Fine Art at university and is now a freelance book illustrator and bookseller. In 2009 she co-founded Improper Books, a publisher which focuses on graphic stories and fantasy works.

Laura’s days consist of either reading, recommending or creating books which as she admits is not too bad for a book-lover!

Night Post her first venture into the world of sequential art was published last November.

Laura lives in Hertfordshire.

After her successful book-making workshop at last year’s festival, Laura is returning with a new children’s activity.  Comic Consequences is a workshop for age 7+ where youngsters can learn about writing and illustrating comics.
